The Centre for Disability Studies’ Active Support Video Contest is open to all people who provide disability support in Australia, and who wish to be a part of the Active Support Community of Practice.
The idea is you need to make a video (which you can make on your mobile phone) that shows the skills and benefits of providing Person Centred Active Support in disability services. It’s about showing the world the things that you do to make supports really engaging.
It doesn’t have to be a long video and you can be as creative as you like. Think about showing the thing that the person you support really enjoys doing.
To enter, you need a link to your video – so this means uploading it onto either Youtube, Vimeo or DailyMotion first. You are welcome to use The Tipping Foundation’s Youtube channel – just ask the Communications team at Tipping for help with uploading.
There are 3 prizes to be won (iPads) but more than that – this is a great opportunity to inspire and educate.
Here’s staff from The Centre for Disability Studies (CDS) explaining the competition:
Entries are now open, and you have until 2 June 2017 to upload your video.
From there, voting on the best video opens on 5 June 2017 and closes 16 June 2017.
